Gifty Serbeh-Dunn
Gifty grew up with shea in Northern Ghana and began making shea butter skincare in her Mill Bay kitchen in 1999. In 2003 she met the Tapko Widow's Group near Wa and has bought directly from them ever since. She still formulates every product and oversees quality, small-batch manufacturing and Health Canada compliance from our Shawnigan Lake studio.
Alan Pratten
Alan brings more than fifty years of entrepreneurial and business management experience across several industries. At Shea Butter Market he leads strategic planning, financing, operational oversight and business development, including our private label and wholesale partnerships.
